Enjoy Oodles of Noodles in Cathay’s latest lounge

In Travel News by The H4C Team

It’s a sultry Saturday morning out on the sassy streets of Hong Kong, but inside Cathay Pacific’s Business Class Lounge at the International Airport, it’s all style and sophistication.

The Pier, which opened last year, is Cathay’s latest offering and is a journey in itself. Oozing all of the elegance of a five-star hotel, your travels begin just beyond the check-in foyer, with a coffee cart and buffet with quick bites, sandwiches, desserts and fruit. Continue on into the bar area, where Moet is the signature Champagne and you’ll also discover a fine selection of red and wine white, as well as premium spirits, served at any hour. An amble along this corridor will deposit you at your next stop, the Noodle Bar, where fresh noodles and dim sum are concocted. Try the pork buns here. Sated, your wanderings should continue on to the Teahouse. This sanguine space serves a variety of artisanal teas including a ginger and lemongrass blend for a true taste of Asia. The calming corridor continues where you can veer left and refresh in one of the 14 shower suites before you surrender to the relaxation room on a resting pod. Cathay Pacific sets a new standard which others are bound to follow.
