Australian small-ship specialist Cruise Traveller has released an exclusive package for a 13-night expedition cruise through the remote islands of Indonesia, with savings of A$7,312 per couple and no solo supplement on the cruise fare. Bookings close 9 May 2026.
The Wild Lands of Indonesia package departs 21 November 2026 and is built around a 10-night voyage aboard Ponant’s Le Soleal, a 264-guest expedition ship, sailing round-trip from Bali. The itinerary covers a string of islands that see little tourist traffic: Sumba, Dili in East Timor, Flores, the Seventeen Islands Marine Park, Satonda Island, the Badas Islands and Saleh Bay. Komodo Island is also on the itinerary, where three-metre Komodo dragons roam terrain that looks largely unchanged from another era.
The 13-night package includes three nights in a Bali hotel before embarkation, private car transfers, a flight credit of A$1,000 per person towards flights to and from Bali, all onboard beverages, and complimentary guided excursions by Zodiac and ashore led by an expert expedition team. An onboard expedition team provides context on the culture, history, wildlife and marine life of each destination.
Priced from A$9,999 per person twin share in a Superior Stateroom with sea views — a saving of A$3,656 per person — the package represents a meaningful reduction on the standard fare. Solo travellers pay from A$11,299 with no supplement applied to the cruise fare portion. The A$1,000 per person flight credit applies to both solos and couples.
