In Must Do - Bali by The H4C Team

Bali is of course famous for its spectacular beaches, making it a haven for surf-mad couples. Whether you’re a surfing novice or an experienced pro, the island has something for everyone. With over five amazing places to choose from, each with varying levels of difficulty, Bali is the perfect place to ride some serious swells.

Canggu beach outside Seminyak is recommended for novices, while experienced wave-riders will have their skills put to the test at Padang Padang beach in the Bukit Peninsula. Known as the Balinese Pipeline, the waves go between four feet to as high as 12ft, but the utmost caution should be exercised when tackling the bigger waves.

New to the sport but keen to get in on the action? Bali is home to a wide array of surf schools that will get you in up on a surfboard in no time.
