Ancient Lantern Fishing takes guests out after dark with a local fisherman, following the traditional lampare technique used along this coastline for centuries. The catch comes back to the kitchen the following morning, where Executive Chef Leopoldo Elefante guides guests through preparing it using seasonal local ingredients. The same chef appears in Nonna’s Secret, an experience built around the annual southern Italian ritual of making tomato passata: a walk through the organic garden, sun-ripened tomatoes picked by hand, and a jar of handmade preserve to take home.
For those drawn to craft, the programme includes bobbin lacemaking with a local artisan whose family has kept the tradition alive for generations, and handwoven basket-making that reveals how natural fibres have been shaped into functional objects along this coast for centuries. Palette of Paradise rounds out the collection with a painting experience set against the Amalfi panorama, led by local artists and open to all levels.
