5. Bondi Beach, Sydney

Bondi Beach is perhaps Australia's most iconic beach, featured on more television shows and postcards than any other beach in Australia. With tens of thousands of visitors stopping by each year, this one-kilometre long beach is perfect for a jog along the boardwalk or for soaking up some sun. There are also pools for swimming in and a rock platform on one end of the beach, perfect for watching the waves crash and discovering critters in the rockpools.
