Couples who love to cruise will be delighted to discover that Royal Caribbean are in Brisbane this week making the final preparations for the maiden arrival of their first ever Queensland-based ship Legend of the Seas.
The 2000-guest ship will grace our ports in Brisbane, Airlie Beach and Cairns in June, giving Queenslander's the chance to see the newest Royal before her maiden season in December 2015.
The Legend of the Seas will bring to Queensland an international style of cruising with world class amenities on our doorstep. Such amenities include the central Artium where acrobats will perform incredible aerial shows, outdoor rock climbing facilities, a mini-golf course and much more.
At 70,000 tonnes, Legend of the Seas is one of the largest superliners to navigate the Brisbane River and dock at the Brisbane Cruise Terminal.
Highlights of Legend of the Seas’ maiden season include:
An 18-night cruise from Hong Kong to Brisbane on 20 November 2015 which calls at Manila, Puerto Princesa, Kota Kinabalu, Bali, Darwin, Cairns and Whitsundays. A similar cruise operates in reverse departing Brisbane on 20 April 2016.
