The Riverland's first ultra-luxe retreat has just opened its doors and we're thrilled to be getting an up-close look! The Frames, three opulent villas overlooking the serene Murray River, really is a property like no other. Why not check it out on your honeymoon or next romantic getaway?

Designed by renowned architect Paul Pruszinski, this gorgeous retreat is perfect for couples craving a bit of seclusion. Three private residences are on offer, each exquisitely tailored to help lovers rejuvenate, relax and fall in love all over again.

If luxury is your cup of tea, this is certainly the accommodation for you. Each villa features king-sized beds, complete with electric functions and an indulgent massage option. You and your sweetheart can laze away in the jacuzzi and deep baths, or let off some steam in the infrared sauna. Heated private pools are perfect for a year-round splash, and you can stay connected to the world with free broadband WiFi and Smart TVs. We love the retreat for its year-round romance – whether its chilly outside or a balmy summer's day, couples can escape into luxury with only each other. A one-touch gas log fire adds some romance to the cooler months, while the sweethearts after a bit of relaxation will simply adore the double-headed showers with spa jets.

For couples who plan on staying in, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen is at your fingertips (including Nespresso coffee machines – divine!), or you can cook outside on the signature Frames deck which includes an outdoor kitchen featuring a state of the art BBQ. You can get your fridge stocked with locally-produced wines and beers, or get provisions sorted with some easy-serve gourmet meals.

When you can bear to tear yourselves away from your stunning surrounds, there's plenty to entertain. Frames' manager, John, can take you on a romantic sunset river cruise, where you'll board a gondola for a peek at river wildlife and the nearby River Port of Renmark, gazing around with bubbly in hand. Or, you and your sweetheart can venture out on your own – check out the gorgeous Banrock Station, the 1859 Overland Corner Hotel, antique stores, or set off on a kayaking adventure.
