Adelaide’s Mount Lofty House unveils $6-million renovations

In Travel News by The H4C Team

Adelaide’s iconic Mount Loft House is making the idea of a short break even more enticing, following the unveiling of its extensive renovations. Giving a fresh new look to its 32 guest rooms, reception area, restaurant, bar and conference facilities, the spectacular property has plenty to enchant romantics.

The three-hatted Hardy’s Verandah specialises in exquisite degustation dining experiences

Originally built on a 30-acre estate at the peak of (what else?) Mt Lofty, the 19th-century house is beloved for its luxe accommodation, heavenly views and gastronomic offerings. Updating its sensational offerings, Mt Lofty House has fused old-world elegance with contemporary style – expect charming four-poster beds, velvet upholstery, marble bathrooms and heritage architectural features.

Also receiving a makeover, the hotel’s three-hatted Hardy’s Verandah remains the place to go for fine dining and breathtaking views. A winner for late-night drinks, the Arthur Waterhouse Lounge serves up inventive creations, like its signature ‘four elements’ cocktails.

The renovations mark the start of an exciting year for Mount Lofty House, with a new 14-suite Sequoia at Mount Lofty House offering launching later in 2019.
