Need a moment’s peace? Slip away to Starry Nights, a glorious new glamping retreat tucked away in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Located on 17 hectares in Woombye, beside the tumbling waters of Petrie Creek, the property offers luxe safari-style ‘suites’ positioned for privacy among the eucalypts and rolling hills.
At a generous 75 sqm, the tents look a real treat with recycled barn floorboards, pillowtop king beds with organic linens, and a scene-stealing bathtub positioned to soak up the views. You’ll also have an ensuite with hot water shower (hurrah!) and flushing toilet, lounge, kitchenette, ceiling fans for balmy summer days, and a cosy log fireplace for cool winter nights. This is glamping after all!
Wake to a breakfast hamper of locally sourced and grown produce, a chorus of birdsong, and perhaps a dip in one of the pristine swimming holes dotted around the property. While it’s a charming base to explore the hinterland villages, national parks and beaches of the Sunshine Coast, we’d be pretty happy bunkering down exclusively at Starry Nights to drink in the fresh air and complimentary organic Aussie bubbles. Did someone say welcome cheese platter?
Couples will love: a peaceful back-to-nature escape that doesn’t skimp on creature comforts.
