Henry Jones Art Hotel
At a glance
At the Henry Jones Art Hotel, Hobart’s iconic waterfront warehouses have been reimagined as Australia’s first dedicated art hotel, blending modernity with an industrial past. More than just an accommodation experience, it’s industrial chic lodging at its finest, with plenty to see, do and learn at the hotel and its surrounds.
Located in the Hunter Street precinct, this harbour-side location has been central to Hobart and its people. In the past the area has seen the rise and fall of industries, notably Sir Henry Jones’ IXL jam empire the art hotel is built in. Today, it’s a precinct humming with galleries, award-winning restaurants, and bars and cafes. From the hotel guests can enjoy views of the bustling port and Mount Wellington.
