Couples on a romantic getaway will love
Enjoying a true getaway together in a place that feels isolated from the outside world, and totally at one with nature. With no outside distractions from mobile phones, TV or internet, days and nights can be spent walking throughout the property, swimming in the outdoor plunge pools, relaxing in the outdoor spa and snuggling in front of the fire with a good DVD borrowed from reception’s complimentary movie library.
Granite Belt accommodation
Ten architect-designed, four-star chalets featuring a fireplace, king-size bed and spa bath. They’re fully self-contained, with four-top gas burner, microwave, electric fry pan and even a BBQ on the verandah, so you never have to leave the comfort of your chalet.
Best room for two for a romantic escape
Any and all of the chalets at Girraween Environmental Lodge are perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway.
Dining & leisure
Chalets are completely self-contained and while there is no dining on-site, a ten minute drive will take you to some of the most mouthwatering options in the district.
The Girraween region has the best wildflower display on Australia’s east coast, attracting abundant bird life onto the property. Exploring the district – and perhaps even getting lost in this incredible place – is highly recommended. Bushwalks depart from the chalets and take guests past grazing kangaroos in open fields, through tranquil bushlands and into spectacular scenery, witnessing extraordinary rock formations, gullies and crystal-clear rock pools.
