Friday evening

For your first dinner in town, head to the romantic Aravina Estate Restaurant. Located in Yallingup, the restaurant offers great wine, delicious food and a warm atmosphere – perfect for a cosily romantic feast for two. Executive Chef Tony Howell sources as many ingredients as possible from local producers, making all your dining options fresh and authentic. An on-site chicken coop even provides the eggs for your dishes! You can’t get much fresher than that.

You and your sweetheart may want to start with the duck confit, which is served with roasted heirloom carrots, beetroot and an orange Chardonnay sauce. Or perhaps you’d prefer the Esperance scallops with Jerusalem artichoke soup, which comes sprinkled with Manjimup truffle and drizzled with a crisp hazelnut salsa. Main dishes include pork belly (served with noodles and oxtail soup), braised lamb neck, and beef short ribs. Vegetarians can opt for the king oyster mushrooms, which come with noodles, avocado and a sesame quail egg.

Whatever you choose, you’ll want to wash it down with a glass of Aravina Estate wine. All food options are displayed with wine pairings on the restaurant’s menu.
