The tunnels of Cu Chi

Located just 40 kilometres outside Ho Chi Minh City, the tunnels of Cu Chi are one of Vietnam’s most famous attractions.

Built by the Vietnamese in the height of the Franco-Vietnamese War, the entire complex is made up of 120kms of long tunnels festooned with small chambers and full-size bunkers. They continued to expand the network all throughout the Vietnam War, with multiple air-filtration systems to aid living conditions and secret trapdoors to confuse enemy forces. Les Rives Experienceoffers an trips up the Saigon River by speedboat, observing daily activities along the bank as you go, and arriving in more comfort than by bus.
