The hype for the third annual Stanthorpe Rocks festival has just been ramped up with a series of exciting announcements that has festival-goers clutching their tickets.
One such announcement was the news that Whisky Gully, Jon English, Peter Cupples, Eurogliders, Taxiride, Ross Wilson, Daryl Braithwaite and John Stevens will all be hitting the main stage.
Due to the festival's increasing popularity, for the first time ever it will be held over two days, the 14th and 15th November – perfect for a short weekend getaway. And just as well, because not only are there incredible musical performances to see, there's also an international food village and market precinct full of everything from arts and craft to jam and jewellery.
Those who have attended Stanthorpe Rocks previously will remember the venue at Ballendean Estate Winery. This year, the venue has moved just across the road to a larger site to accommodate the expanding infrastructure needed such as the new Super Tent with purpose-built stage. The Super Tent features a dance zone, seating, corporate areas and a restaurant.
To showcase the up and coming talent of the Granite Belt, there will be five local performances on the main stage as well as in the beer garden during breaks.
Tickets are limited so grab yours now for an exciting weekend with good vibes, fantastic music and of course food.
